In 1973, fresh off their 1972 National League pennant winning season, the Cincinnati Reds posted a 99-63 record to the win the N.L. West division flag and got all the way to Game 5 of the NLCS before losing to the New York Mets, 7-2. Under the direction of team skipper Sparky Anderson, the Reds would stay in contention for years to come and actually win back-to-back World Series titles in 1975 and ‘76. This lot features a team-signed Official National League (Feeney) baseball that’s been autographed in blue ink by 29 members of the club including Mgr. Anderson across the sweet spot. Other notable signatures on the baseball include Hall of Famers Joe Morgan, Johnny Bench and Tony Perez. Other significant names include Dan Driessen, Don Gullett, Cesar Geronimo, George Foster, Ken Griffey, Pedro Borbon and Jack Billingham. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
