Nice pairing of a game-worn helmet and jersey from former Green Bay Packers guard Rick Moran, who called Lambeau Field home for all nine seasons of his NFL career. Moran started 82 of the 108 games played from 1985-93, protecting Brett Favre in his final two campaigns. The Bike Air helmet is absolutely thrashed, with scratches and dents covering the yellow shell. It looks like it should be from the Lombardi era. The facemask has long been removed or fallen off, with few of the broken bar clips still attached. The earpads and chinstrip appear to be the originals. All interior suspension padding is intact and fully functional. It has the Packer logo decals on both sides and the green and white stripe front to back. A Dymo label sticker with Moran's No. "57" is affixed to the rear, opposite the Bike Air manufacturing stamp.

The MacGregor Sand-Knit home green mesh jersey has the Packers logo on each sleeve and Moran's No. "57" pressed on the front, back and shoulders in white. At the left front tail is the manufacturer's tagging with "Designed & Tailored for the GREEN BAY PACKERS NATIONAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE" and a size "56" flag tag. A washing instructions tag is located inside the right shirttail. Behind the collar are size "56" and "Regular" flag tags. There is no name on the back; it has apparently been removed. Many teams recycled jerseys in that era due to lower budgets. The jersey has been customized to fit Moran, a massive 6'3" 275 lb. man, with an added mesh section sewn along the inseam from the shirttail bottom to the sleeve end. Like the helmet, it shows outstanding use, with rips, holes and contact marks throughout. Great game-used examples for all you Packer collectors out there.
