Carl Yastrzemski, affectionately known as “Yaz” by former players and baseball fans, was a Hall of Fame leftfielder for the Boston Red Sox who took over for the great Ted Williams in 1961 when the Bosox legend retired from Major League Baseball. But in the end, it was Yaz himself who turned into another icon in Beantown. He retired in 1983 with 23 years of service under his belt, all with the Red Sox. He belted 452 home runs and won the elusive Triple Crown in 1967, the same season in which he led the Red Sox to the American League pennant. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
Offered here is a lot of five (5) Carl Yastrzemski autographed and limited-edition (452) lithographs by sports artist Christopher Paluso. The full-color montage shows Yaz in five stages of action during his HOF career and is signed in pencil by both Yastrzemski and Paluso. Each lithograph measures 18” wide by 24” tall.
Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
