The late Hall of Famer Roy Campanella was the longtime backstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Crippled at the age of 36 in a car accident in January of 1958, “Campy” never played for the Dodgers once they moved to Los Angeles, but he had made his mark as one of “Dem Bums” in Brooklyn. An eight-time All-Star selection and three-time National League MVP (1951, ’53 and ’55), Campanella led the Dodgers to a World Series championship in 1955 when they defeated the American league Champion New York Yankees in seven games. Offered here is a lot of four (4) Roy Campanella autographed and limited-edition (25-0) lithographs by sports artist Christopher Paluso. The full-color lithographs show “Campy” during four different stages of his prolific career behind the plate and at the plate and is signed in pencil by both Campanella and Paluso. Each lithograph measures 24” wide by 18” high. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
