Massive nine by six foot Olympic rings flag flown at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Games. Irish cyclist Gary Thomson's name is written in black marker on the corner. He competed in two events at the 1984 Summer Games. The flag was donated at some point to the Newport Sports Museum in Newport Beach, CA. One can assume that it once belonged to Thompson before ending up on display there. NM-MT condition. No holes or rips.
