Eye appealing 1958-62 Hartland Statue of 1960 American League Most Valuable Player and newly crowed home run king Roger Maris, one of the most difficult to obtain players in the issue. Off white uniform is very clean. Original paint to uniform, shoes, and skin still very strong with no noticible problems. The face is flawless! Statue stands perfectly straight with the base laying perfectly flat. It appears the back foot has been re-glued. The hand holding the bat has been "drilled" making the hole slightly larger than originally produced. Also Comes with what looks to be an original bat and the rare box. Box in about VG condition, totally complete with no missing pieces. Maris image on front still present covering the cellophane window. Inside you can see some of the cellophane has been torn. Great looking statue overall.
