The Pro Football Hall of Fame is located in Canton, Ohio. It first opened its doors in 1963 and has now enshrined hundreds of worthy gridiron standouts as official inductees. Its mission is to "Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence Everywhere.”
This lot includes three multi-signed Pro Football Hall of Fame footballs signed by many of the game’s greatest players in history. The first of three white-panel footballs is christened with “NFL Alumni” and is signed in black marker by 21 Hall of Famers including Chuck Bednarik, Raymond Berry, Dick Butkus, Bob Lilly, James Lofton, John Madden, Mel Renfro, Shannon Sharpe and John Stallworth. The second football, stamped “Collector’s Edition Pro Football Hall of Fame” includes 23 signatures from past inductees into the Hall of Fame including Lenny Moore, Len Dawson, Art Donovan, Willie Davis, John Hannah, Leroy Kelly, Willie Brown, Willie Lanier, Anthony Munoz, Forrest Gregg and Art Monk. The third and final football, also stamped “Collector’s Edition Pro Football Hall of Fame” includes 22 signatures in black marker including Carl Eller, Fred Dean, Fred Biletnikoff, Emmitt Smith, Harry Carson, Elvin Bethea, Jim Kelly, Marcus Allen, Jim Taylor, Roger Staubach, Jan Stenerud, Bob Griese, Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow and Mike Haynes.
