Even 13 years post retirement, former Utah Jazz star John Stockton remains the NBA’s career assist leader with 15,806 to his credit. The next closest player on the list is Jason Kidd with 12,091. This lot features the 2009 Basketball Hall of Famer’s 1993-94 Utah Jazz game-worn road jersey, a season in which he averaged 15.1 points and a league-leading 12.6 assist per game. The purple mesh jersey includes the proper Champion manufacturer’s and washing instructions tag (size 40) on the front left tail, right next to the two-tone NBA Champion tag that reads: “Designed 1993-94 & Tailored Exclusively for UTAH JAZZ Body Length +2.” Across the front of the jersey is the ironed-on, yellow-and-white Utah “Jazz” emblem as well as his uniform number “12.” The embroidered NBA logo man patch is positioned on the left shoulder. On the Back of the jersey is “STOCKTON” in white tackle twill letters in semi-circular fashion, positioned above his number “12.” The jersey shows excellent wear with plenty of stretching and pilling.
