Ken Griffey Jr. is the newest member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, having been elected on January 6, 2016. He will be enshrined in Cooperstown this August. But before Junior officially goes into the Hall, you can get your hands on a pair of game-used baseballs Griffey crushed while playing out his last season with the Seattle Mariners in 2009. This lot features two game-used baseballs from his final season in the bigs, both hit by Junior at Safeco Field during the ’09 MLB season.

The first baseball was hit during a Sept. 18, 2009, game against the visiting New York Yankees. It was a foul ball off Griffey’s bat that was retrieved and even recorded by Seattle mariners Foul Ball Club Member Larry Christensen. The Mariners won the game, 3-2, as Griffey went 0-for-2 at the plate with two walks. It includes a COA card from the Safeco Field Foul Ball Club as well as the game ticket. The second baseball – from the Mariners October 3, 2009, game against the Texas Rangers – was fouled off in the first inning by Junior off angers starter Tommy Hunter.

The 9/18/2009 baseball includes Safeco Field Foul Ball Club Member COA card with game ticket. The 10/3/2009 vs. Texas: fouled off facing Tommy Hunter in 1st according to MLB Auth. The M’s would win this game as well, 2-1, as Junior went 1-for-3 on the day with a home run in the fourth inning, also off Hunter.

Includes MLB Authentication (LH 199599) for 10/3/2009 baseball; Seattle Mariners COA for 9/18/2009 baseball.
