Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Brock won a pair of World Series titles with the St. Louis Cardinals (1964 and ’67). During the ’67 campaign, he led the league in base steals (52), runs scored (113) and plate appearances (724) while batting .299. This lot features Brock’s 1967 St. Louis Cardinals game-worn home jersey from the championship season in which they defeated the American League Champion Boston Red Sox in an epic seven-game series.

Presented here is an exquisite Lou Brock jersey that certainly ranks up there among his finest garments offered publicly. The red Rawlings Size 42 tag is on the front-left tail, positioned above the cleaning tag is at the bottom. Just below the Rawlings tag on the front is "Brock 67" in red stitching. The Hall of Famer has added his autograph in black to the front right tail of the jersey. Though the signature has faded over time, it remains legible and would rate 7-8/10 in our book. Brock’s Cardinals home flannel shows excellent game use, remaining completely original but for his last name having been restored on the reverse. The classic (albeit slightly faded) chenille Cardinals two-bird logo above the cursive "Cardinals" adorns the front. Considering the overall quality and year of service, this must be considered among the finest of the few known Brock game jerseys that have reached the marketplace..
