1974 Los Angeles Dodgers road jersey game worn by Hall of Fame manager Walter Alston. Alston would lead the Dodgers to the National League Pennant in 1974, before falling to the Oakland A's in the World Series. Over his 23 year managerial career, all with the Dodgers, Alston won 2040 games and lost 1613 for a .558 winning percentage. He stands at 9th All-Time in terms of games won. His teams won 7 National League pennants and took 4 World Series Championships. The gray polyester button-down jersey features "Dodgers" across the chest in blue tackle twill and Alston's number "24" sewn on the left front in red tackle twill. "ALSTON" and his number "24" are on the back in blue tackle twill. W.A. Goodman & Sons main label size 46 tag with laundry instructions appears inside the collar. On the left front tail is a tag with "Set 1 '74" stitched in blue. Jersey shows wear consistent with being worn by a manager and is in beautiful, original, problem free condition.
