Former big league first baseman Jeff Bagwell, the 1991 National League Rookie of the Year and the 1994 N.L. MVP, played his entire 15-year major league career with the Houston Astros. He ripped 449 home runs and drove in 1,529 runs all while batting a career .297, numbers that should earn him a spot in Cooperstown one day alongside his "Killer B" counterpart, Craig Biggio.

This lot features Bagwell’s signed and game-ready 2000 Houston Astros home jersey. The 100% polyester Authentic Collection Majestic pinstriped jersey [size 50] reads “Astros” across the front in script black tackle twill outlined in cream, red and gray with Bagwell’s uniform number “5” across the left breast area. On the lower left front tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag with a “50” flag tag attached to it. Just inside the left tail along the seam is the washing is instructions tag with "0062" game-issued coding. On the back of the jersey, across the shoulders, is his last name – “BAGWELL” – in black tackle twill outlined in cream and red with his uniform number “5” centered beneath it in similar tackle twill fashion. He has signed the “5” in gold paint pen. The official embroidered MLB patch can be found on the outside rear collar and the Astros’ “2000 INAUGURAL SEASON” patch, marking their first year at Enron Field (since renamed Minute Maid Park), is located on the left sleeve. Shirt shows no visible wear so we are calling it game-issued/ready.

Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
