Don Drysdale’s illustrious, 14-year MLB career was honored by his election into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York on August 12, 1984. Many accolades and awards followed including this beautifully-crafted wooden presentation box. Measuring 17" by 17" by 6.5", the wooden box with a varnished appearance is engraved on the top "Don Drysdale Class of 1984" with the National Baseball Hall of Fame logo and a lovely sculpted artistic rendition of the Cooperstown building. It comes in its original cardboard box with same fitted Styrofoam used for packing it. Clearly, Big Don never removed it from the box. It presents essentially brand new.
Includes LOA from the Drysdale Family.
