This is significant game-worn jersey from a rather unknown player, Chad Jenkins, who was the winning pitcher in the longest game in innings and elapsed time in Toronto Blue Jays history. Jenkins was the last of eight pitchers for the Blue Jays, throwing six scoreless innings to earn the win in the 19-inning, 6-hour and 37-minute marathon victory over the Tigers, 6-5, on August 10, 2014. The blazing red 'Canada Day' jersey is in spectacular condition, with the intricately embroidered “Blue Jays” in white across the front and the club’s red, white and blue embroidered Blue Jay logo below. “Jenkins” is across the back in white tackle twill affixed directly to the shirt above his No. 64 in the same fashion. The jersey has white mesh ribbed panels under each arm and red and white elastic trim on sleeves and collar. The Canadian flag patch appears on the left shoulder. Majestic tagging is found on the front tail above a red strip tag with “64 2014” embroidered in white and a second Majestic label appears on the back of the collar. Shirt shows appropriate game use and comes problem free.
