Great threesome of items from legendary University of Southern California head baseball coach Rob Dedeuax who spent 45 years (1942-86) managing the Trojans and passed away in 2006. His teams were Pacific Conference Champions 28 times and won 11 National Titles (College World Series), including a record five straight (1970–1974). Dedeaux was honored as "Coach of the Century" by Collegiate Baseball magazine, was named Coach of the Year six times by the Collegiate Baseball Coaches Association, and was one of ten original inductees into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in 1970. He managed the USA Olympic Baseball team in 1964 (Tokyo) and 1984 (L.A.).

First we have a USC Trojans home game-issued or manager-worn jersey, circa 1980's. The size 46 white shirt, with "Trojans" and No. "1" in red and gold tackle twill, has little evident wear. The Goodman & Sons tag on the left front tail does shows laundry bleeding. Next up is a 1992 Los Angeles Dodgers road coach's-worn jersey most likely donned by Dedeaux during Spring Training when the retired USC manager was sometimes called upon to give instruction. It has "DEDEAUX" and No. "2" in blue-on-white tackle twill on the back. The size 50 Rawlings tagging with "Set 2 1992" flag tag is inside the back right tail. It shows light but appropriate wear. The third piece is a unique Louisville Slugger bat cane with "Rob Dedeaux" branded on the barrel.

Dodgers jersey comes with team LOA. Letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
