Nice threesome of Anaheim-Los Angeles Angels game-worn jerseys from three key players in the early-mid 2000's. Starting with third-baseman Chone Figgins, we have his 2002 rookie gamer from the Anaheim Angels one and only World Series Championship season. Figgins was a late-season call-up and contributed off the bench during the postseason primarily as a pinch-runner. He became a full-time starter in 2004 and served as the team's speedy leadoff hitter for six straight seasons, earning an All-Star selection in 2009. Scot Shields played his entire 10-year career for the Angels predominantly as the team's dominant set-up man for closers Troy Percival and Francisco Rodriguez. In 2005, when he wore the jersey offered, he had a 2.75 ERA while involved in 21 decisions out of the bullpen, going 10-11 with 98 K's in 91 2/3 innings. Orlando Cabrera took over as the L.A. Angels starting shortstop in 2005 and sported the offered jersey during his 3-year stint with the club, which included a Gold Glove in 2007. All three button-down knit shirts are very similar in design, the only differences being the names and numbers sewn on in red-on-navy blue tackle twill. "ANGELS" on the front comes in the same format but has a white and silver outline. Figgins' 2002 jersey has Rawlings tagging (last year they made MLB jerseys) on the left front tail, while the other two have Majestic tagging. Shields' size 46 jersey has a 2005 year flag tag; Cabrera's size 52 shirt does not. All three come all-original and show light to moderate wear.

Letter of provenance from Newport Sports Museum.
