Nice grouping of USA Baseball items from their 1984 and 1988 Olympic squads that took home the silver and gold medals, respectively. Baseball was a demonstration sport at the '84 Los Angeles and '88 Seoul Summer Olympic Games. The 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Silver Medalist USA team-signed Official 1984 Olympics game baseball includes 21 signatures, most notably Mark McGwire, Barry Larkin (HOF), Ken Caminiti (RIP) and Will "The Thrill" Clark. Bobby Witt, Billy Swift, B.J. Surhoff, Greg Swindell, Cory Snyder, Shane Mack, Oddibe McDowell, and Chris Gwynn are others worth mentioning. The autographs average 6-7/10, all but Clark done in blue ballpoint. It is accompanied by a "Los Angeles 1984 Dodger Stadium Olympic Baseball" patch and an unsigned 1984 Olympic Baseball Scorecard Magazine.

The 1988 Calgary Olympic Gold Medalist USA team-signed OAL (Brown) baseball includes 20 signatures, most notably Jim Abbott, Robin Ventura, Tino Martinez, Andy Benes, Charles Nagy, Ben McDonald, Ed Sprague, and Mickey Morandini. The autographs average 8/10, all done in blue ballpoint. The '1988 TEAM U.S.A. "Gold Medal Winners" GOLD EDITION: 123 of 150' black Adirondack presentation bat is autographed by 20 members of the team, including all of the aforementioned notables, in shiny 9/10 gold paint pen. Topping it off is a 1988 team-signed USA Baseball Training Site Program with 21 signatures, including all of the notables, done in 7-8/10 red or blue marker.
