This lot includes two Jacksonville Jaguars inaugural season jerseys worn by Heisman Trophy winners and a game-issued and signed jersey from one of the NFL's top left tackles in the late 1990's. Wide receiver and return man extraordinaire Desmond Howard won the 1991 Heisman at the University of Michigan. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 1992 before joining the Jags in 1995 where he returned punts and kicks and served as an extra wide receiver. He would join the Green Bay Packers in 1996 and earn MVP honors for his memorable performance in Super Bowl XXI. His Wilson size 44 Jacksonville Jaguars nylon/mesh teal jersey is complete with the 1995 Inaugural Season Patch sewn onto the left chest. It includes a “95” strip tag stitched into the back collar. Howard's name is stitched across the back in white tackle twill letters with gold and black outlines. The Jaguars logo adorns both sleeves and the NFL shield stitched into the front of the V-neck collar. It appears the Wilson "W/S" patches have been removed as there are signs of dethreading. Howard has autographed his No. 81 on the back in black marker. Shows excellent game use, especially on the front numbers.

Quarterback Andre Ware won the 1989 Heisman winner at University of Houston after throwing for 4,699 yards and 44 TDs and setting 26 NCAA passing records in their high octane run and shoot offense. A first-round NFL draft pick in 1990 by the Detroit Lions, Ware eventually was signed by the Jags in 1995 but only played in the preseason before getting cut. This is Ware’s jersey from that preseason. It is identical same to Howard's, only it comes in size 46 and still has the two Wilson "W/S" patches sewn on each sleeve. Ware wore No. 11 and has signed on the first '1' on the back in thick black marker. Shows solid wear with plenty of pilling and fraying, plus a nice dirt stain on the left shoulder numbers.

Tony Boselli has the honor of being the Jaguars' first ever draft pick as he was selected #2 overall out of USC in 1995. He earned five straight trips to the Pro Bowl 1996-2000 as a dominant left tackle for Mark Brunell. His white 1998 game ready Nike jersey comes in size 46 and is very clean given that is was likely never worn in game action. Teal with gold and black outline is the design for the letters and numbers. Boselli has signed the back "7" and included his No. 71. Nice compliment to Ware making this a great pairing for those Jags fan/collectors out there.

Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
