The late great Hall of Fame Bob Feller was a sensational pitcher for the Cleveland Indians. Despite missing three seasons due to military service, he compiled an overall record of 266-162 with 2,581 strikeouts over 18 big league seasons (1936 to 1956). What’s even more remarkable is the fact that Feller pitched 279 complete games! Offered here is a framed die-cut advertising poster entitled “See Bob Feller in Person” (circa early 1950’s) that measures 13” wide by 38” high. It shows the six-foot right-hander speaking to a group of three young boys wearing baseball gear, showing off what other baseball fans could be doing while seeing Feller. The clean red, blue, and black print contracts beautifully with the poster’s bright yellow background. The die-cut counter sign remains in EX/MT condition although it does bear three horizontal lines from being originally stored flat (one with a wrinkle at the center).
