The Los Angeles Lakers produced countless memories at their home, which affectionately became known as “The Fabulous Forum,” during the 32 years the franchise used the building from 1967 to 1999. Among the highlights were six NBA titles earned by some of the biggest names the sport has ever seen, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson and James Worthy. The Great Western Forum also was the stage for other greats, like Michael Jordan, who led the Bulls to an NBA title over the Lakers in 1991. It is on this 4½ by 6-inch piece of original yellow hardwood removed from The Forum in 1991 that the signatures of Jordan and Johnson appear in 8-9/10 black marker. The dual-signed 1 ¼-inch thick floor piece shows heavy signs of game use and is PSA/DNA certified (E11838) with a sticker affixed to the right side. UDA hologram (SHO90366) affixed to top verifies the signatures.
