ADDENDUM: According to MLB Authentication database, the jersey was signed on July 9, 2012 during the player's workout day and Home Run Derby event.

Nice 2012 MLB All-Star jersey worn and autographed by Miguel Cabrera during the July 9 All-Star festivities at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Miggy did not compete in the State Farm Home Run Derby, but he was a spectator in this sky blue Majestic button down Cool Base shirt and most likely wore it for batting practice beforehand as players typically do. The 2012 season was a banner year in baseball thanks to Miggy becoming the first to win the Triple Crown since Yaz in '67. Batting .330 with 44 HR and 139 RBI, he was an easy choice for American League MVP that season as well. Yet, he did not even start in the All-Star game in which the National League blanked the AL, 8-0.

The "AMERICAN" All-Star script logo patch is sewn across the front of the blue shirt, with the 2012 MLB All-Star Game patch on the left sleeve. A Detroit "D" logo in white is sewn on right sleeve. Majestic manufacturer's tagging appears on the front left tail reading "MLB ALL-STAR GAME 2012 KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI" with an "ASG" logo. "CABRERA" is sewn across the back in white tackle twill with Miggy's No. "24" below in blue tackle twill outlined in white. He has signed just below in 8/10 black marker. Shows appropriate wear.

MLB Authentication (EK 244099) for autograph. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
