OAL(Harridge) baseball signed by Yankee Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig (Sweet Spot), Tony Lazzeri, Bill Dickey and Earle Combs plus other Yankees are Johnny Murphy, Johnny Broaca, Monte Pearson, George Selkirk, Bob Seeds, Frank Crosetti, Jake Powell, Kemp Wicker, coaches Johnny Schulte and Art Fletcher, and trainer Earle "Doc" Painter. George "Snuffy" Stirnweiss, who played for the Yankees from 1943-50, has signed over the OAL stamping. The two Detroit Tigers who signed the ball are Charlie Gehringer (HOF) and Schoolboy Rowe. Overall 7/10 black steel-tip pen ink signatures on a shellacked ball that has darkened evenly. Gehrig, Dickey, Gehringer appear 7/10. Combs looks 8/10. DiMaggio and Lazzeri is about 6/10. All signatures very easily readable except the Stirnweiss. JSA has deemed that all the 19 signatures on the ball to be real but PSA/DNA has deemed the Joe DiMaggio, Kemp Wicker, and Art Fletcher signatures to be Clubhouse.
