The 1991-92 Los Angeles Kings season saw the Kings finishing second in the Smythe Division and fourth in the Campbell Conference with a record of 35-31-14. However, they were eliminated in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Edmonton Oilers. The Kings were coached by Tom Webster and captained by the Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky.

This lot features a limited-edition Artist’s Proof (#24/100) by renowned sports artist Stephen Holland entitled “He Shoots – He Scores” showing a cluster of L.A. Kings players centered around a teammate taking a slap shot. The framed and matted piece of magnificent sports art measures 36” wide by 33” high and boasts 26 signatures in pencil from the Kings roster that season, along with that of the artist. Notable autographs include Gretzky, Luke Robitaille, Dave Taylor, Marty McSorley, Mike Donnelly, Tony Granato, Bob Kudelski, Charlie Huddy and Kelly Hrudey.

Includes Letter of Provenance from Newport Sports Museum.
