Almost immediately after retiring from Major League Baseball in 1969, Dodgers' pitching great Don Drysdale embarked on a professional broadcasting career. He held several posts with multiple teams’ broadcasting booths including the Montreal Expos, Texas Rangers, then-Anaheim Angels, Chicago White Sox and eventually the Dodgers. This lot features a gold wristwatch Drysdale was awarded for being on the first WCT-TV team in 1977. The Baum & Mercer watch has the following text engraved on the back: “Don Thanks for being part of WCT’s 1st TV 1-1-77.” It comes packaged inside its original blue suede presentation box. Watch did run when wound.

Includes LOA from the Drysdale Family.
