Full unused WORKING PRESS BOX ticket to the November 22, 1965 World Heavyweight Championship bout between champion Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay) and challenger Floyd Patterson held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Patterson, attempting to win the Heavyweight title an unprecedented 3rd time, lost by a TKO at the end of the 12th round. Throughout the fight Ali toyed with Patterson, mocking and humiliating him as he punished the popular former champ, instead of quickly knocking him out. Ali called Patterson an "Uncle Tom" for continuing to call him Cassius Clay and for speaking out against the black Muslims. Ticket features small portrait photo images of both fighters on the front. Ticket appears about VG+ with corner wear, slight creasing at upper right corner, and a slight indentation at top center. This is a lesser example than the PSA NM 7 graded version in Lot 1220, yet it is certainly one of the finest to be offered.
