The late Don Drysdale threw his share of fastballs for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers from 1956 to 1969 at which time a torn rotator cuff ended his career at the age of 32. During the course of his 14-year MLB tenure, Drysdale struck out 2,486 batters and pitched a total of 3,432 innings! This lot features a well-worn, game-used Spalding fielder’s glove that Drysdale used during much of his career in Dodger Blue. The form pocket, "Don Drysdale Personal Model E-Z Flex" (#42-203) glove is completely broken in and much of the stitched-in, red-silver-and-blue Spalding label on the back of the wrist area has worn away over time. The 100% Nylon Stitched glove remains completely intact. A great piece of vintage sports memorabilia worn by one of the most dominant pitchers of his era.

Includes LOA from the Drysdale Family.
