One of the greatest and certainly flashiest tennis players of all-time, Andre Agassi cemented his place in the International Tennis Hall of Fame early in his career when his baseline shot-making prowess and rock-star long hair took the world by storm. Winner of eight Grand Slam titles, including one of each, Agassi could win on any surface against any opponent. It was his off-the-court demons, which came to light post-retirement in his autobiography, that may have prevented him from an even greater career.

Presented here is a 1992 Davis Cup jacket signed by Agassi and presumably worn by the "Rebel" at a promotional event or perhaps casually. The wild, white button-down jean jacket made by Jensen Smith (a clothing line out of Chattanooga, TN) comes in size Large. It has the '1992 Davis Cup United States vs. Argentina' patch on the right chest and again on the left sleeve. Agassi has signed the upper back in 7/10 thick black marker above a large American flag pattern that covers the entire back. The thick material shows some yellow spotting and light brown staining from wear, age and its display environment. This lot also comes with a Penn Centre Court 1 tennis ball signed by Agassi in black marker. Two nice pieces to honor perhaps the most popular American tennis player ever.

Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
