One of the greatest tennis players ever, John McEnroe used a Dunlop Max 200G racquet for much of his reign in 1980's when he won six of his seven Grand Slam singles titles. This offered racquet was presented as match-used and shows light to moderate use, most likely from the late 80's. All strings are unbroken and perfectly intact, but there are some court markings on the black and green-striped graphite rim, perhaps from one of Johnny Mac's epic tantrums. He has signed the bottom of the shaft near the leather grip in 8-9/10 shiny silver marker. The polo shirt is attributed to the Arthur Ashe AIDS Tennis Challenge Pro-Celebrity Tennis Match. McEnroe wore the exact same style shirt during that charity match which took place on August 28, 1994 at Flushing Meadow Park in New York City. It shows light use. Great pairing of tennis items from an American sports icon.

Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
