Curt Flood was one of the most important baseball players of the 20th century, if not one of the most influential athletes period. This lot includes two single signed baseballs from his personal collection. It's rare to find a Joe DiMaggio signature on an official 1994 World Series baseball, but that's what we have here. The Yankee Clipper has signed the sweet spot in 8-9/10 blue ink. The recently departed Yogi Berra, Joe's Yankee teammate (1946-51), has signed an ONL (White) baseball on the sweet spot in 7/10 blue ink. Neither ball is snow white, but they are mostly clean sans a few brown toning marks. Nice pairing with even better provenance.
