Randy Jones dominated the National League in 1975 and 1976, going 20-12 in ’75, and 22-14 in 1976, logging a remarkable 315 innings along the way in that Cy Young campaign. From the former season comes this beautiful road gray knit which is richly accentuated in yellow and brown sleeve-edge and collar trim. “SAN DIEGO” (in two-color tackle twill), appears across the front and his No. 17 appears front and back, also two-color tackle twill. The inner collar holds a knit swatch reading “35 75 40,” identifying jersey number, season and size. Along with the collar coding is a Wilson ’74-79 era label indicating Size 40 and situated on the lower left front tail. Shirt show game use and is a handsome example of the unique jersey styling that the Padres brought to the National League in that decade and is problem-free and without alteration of any description.
