Featured here is a unique pair of Patrick Ewing game-worn Phoenix signature model “Ewing Rebound” shoes from the 1988-89 campaign in which the 7-foot center from Jamaica averaged 22.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and career highs in FG% (.567) and steals (1.5). The New York Knicks finished with the 2nd best record in the Eastern Conference at 52-30 before falling to the Chicago Bulls in the conference semis. The 11-time All-Star remains the Knicks’ all-time leading scorer (24,815 points) and was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2012.

The Phoenix “Ewing Rebound” high-top white leather sneakers have the Phoenix brand logo in blue on the outside with a blue and orange stripe pattern in Knick-themed colors. “Phoenix” is stamped on the lower heels in blue and a “Patrick Ewing” facsimile signature is stamped in blue on the upper ankles. (Note: this is not his actual signature.) The shoes have their original laces and come in size 13.5, which seems small for a man of Ewing’s stature. He wore size 14 in the 1990’s. There is thick padding and support in the design. The exterior leather and outsoles shows solid game use, including some red paint transfers from other players stepping on the big man’s toes in the lane. The shoes were procured by a former Atlanta Hawks ball boy who was gifted these and many other game-worn sneakers from Hawks players and opponents during his tenure. Awesome pair of gamers from one of the league’s most dominant centers in the 1980’s and 90’s.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from former Atlanta Hawks Ball Boy.
