The Baltimore Ravens took the NFL by storm in 2000 by marching to a regular-season record of 12-4 before completely humiliating the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV, 34-7. One of the big reasons for the team’s unbridled success that season was free safety Rod Woodson who recorded 67 tackles and four more interceptions to his already impressive career totals. This lot includes Woodson’s game-worn Ravens Riddell helmet from that memorable season. The crown of the black helmet, which boasts the Ravens’ logo on either side, shows on-the-field wear with plenty of contact marks. The back of the helmet features and American flag to the right of the middle, positioned just above Woodson’s uniform No. 26 decal in white. Everything is original except for the newly applied Riddell chinstrap. A great piece of sports memorabilia from Baltimore’s first ever Super Bowl-winning team. The helmet was sourced from the estate of a Baltimore attorney.
