This is a special opportunity to acquire a 1997 game-worn and autographed jersey from a man who is widely considered to be the greatest wide receiver in NFL history and perhaps the greatest NFL player ever. Jerry Rice is the all-time leader in most major statistical categories for wide receivers, including receptions, touchdown receptions and yards. Rice was selected to the Pro Bowl 13 times (1986–1996, 1998, 2002) and named All-Pro 12 times in his 20 NFL seasons. He won three Super Bowl rings playing for the San Francisco 49ers and an AFC Championship with the Oakland Raiders. As of 2014, Rice held over 100 NFL records, the most of any player by a wide margin. In the back inside collar is the "REEBOK" manufacturer's size 46 tag; the NFL Proline Authentic tag appears on the front left tail. Attached is the "100% NYLON" flag tag. On the bottom front collar is the embroidered official "NFL" logo patch. The player No. 80 appears on the front, back, and sleeves in burgundy on gold on black triple tackle twill. Rice has placed an enormous black Sharpie autograph vertically along the "0" of his number on the back, roughly 8 inches in length. Across the back is the player name "Rice" on a white nameplate in burgundy on black tackle twill. Below the player number on each sleeve is the embroidered "REEBOK" logo. The jersey has custom elastic sleeves and white spandex sides. The jersey shows moderate game-use and comes as-issued and problem-free.

From the collection of the late Dave Rahn (pictured with Rice), the 49ers' Director of Operations for 16 years. Includes LOA from his wife. Autograph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

From 1986-2002, Dave Rahn served an integral role within the San Francisco 49ers organization. Starting as a public relations and media coordinator, he soon took over as director of travel and team services where he was responsible for all football operations, including travel and accommodations, practice schedules, lodging and meal planning. He later managed the concert tours for Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow and Lionel Richie. In 2014, Dave Rahn passed away after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. "He was like a wheel, and all these spokes from those years came from him," said his close friend, former linebacker Gary Plummer. "He kept the 49ers family from those times together." His collection includes dozens of 49ers game-worn and autographed items gifted by the many players and staff members who were loyal friends to Dave and will forever remain close to his loving family.
