From the great Jackie Joyner-Kersee, among the all-time greatest athletes in the women's heptathlon as well as in the women's long jump, comes this amazing pair of adidas track shoes worn at an Olympic Trials. In the course of her storied career, she won three gold, one silver and two bronze Olympic medals, in those two events at four different Olympic Games. Sports Illustrated for Women magazine voted Joyner-Kersee the Greatest Female Athlete of the 20th century, just ahead of Babe Didrikson Zaharias.

The spikes, a remarkable lightweight canvas and suede, show tremendous use, but are otherwise problem-free and largely as-issued. Most of the wear is visible on the tan suede and grey canvas sections; decorative red-and-blue striping on the sides and the Adidas blazing red-and-black logo tag on the tongue are quite pristine. Joyner-Kersee has signed "Jackie J. Kersee on the right side of each heel and added "Olympic Trials" on the grey fabric section of the toe of the left shoe.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from renowned shoe collector, Bill Ficke.
