NOTE: SMR individual card value for the 109 graded cards alone in this set is over $12,000.
Super high grade, fresh to the hobby complete set of 1954 Topps Baseball cards came to us from the original owner looking like a solid brick that hadn't been touched since it was assembled from vending 50 years ago (see photo). We immediately sent about 1/2 of the cards, including all major stars, to PSA for grading with expectations of many MINT 9 grades. Needless to say we were disappointed with the results and will strongly argue that most cards display better than the given technical grade. The graded cards are:

We still see more possibilities for grading as we only sent in all key Hall of Famers and those cards we thought had a chance to be NM-MT or MINT. Many review and resubmit candidates abound.
