One of the most gifted ballplayers of the last quarter century, Strawberry boasted the most graceful and impressive swing since Joe DiMaggio. Only the temptations that abound in "The City That Never Sleeps" could have caused any kind of a detour from punching his Cooperstown ticket, and that's precisely what happened. His record remains one of the most impressive of modern times not likely to get a HOF nod: 335 home runs, .259 lifetime batting average and an even 1,000 runs batted in. During his 17-year career, he helped lead the New York Mets to a World Series championship in 1986 and the New York Yankees to three World Series championships in 1996, 1998 and 1999. A popular player during his career, Strawberry was voted to the All-Star Game eight straight times from 1984–91. The gray road jersey is trimmed in blue, orange, and white with matching "New York" arching across the chest in triple layered tackle twill. The jersey has "Strawberry 18" on the reverse with, "Rawlings "44", "90 2 18" strip tag, and "1 inch extra length" tag. Signed in black sharpie on front below the left shoulder. Shows light to moderate game use, with all elements largely as-issued and in problem-free condition. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Mastro Net and Letter of Authenticity from previous owner.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
