If you were to put together a list of the best players in San Francisco 49ers history, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young and Dave Wilcox would certainly be at the top, having all spent at least ten season with the team and punched their ticket into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Each has signed this amazing Riddell full-size 49ers helmet in blue Sharpie popping beautifully out of the gold shell. Wilcox added the inscription "HOF 2000" to commemorate his induction. Perhaps all that's missing is Ronnie Lott and Y.A. Tittle to complete the perfect 49ers Hall of Fame grouping. The helmet itself is in almost pristine condition, and while not game worn it is the official Riddell helmet in quality and design with remarkably clean and shiny elements all in essentially brand new, as-issued condition.

Collector, Bill Albert, was persistent in his pursuit of such special collaborations of legendary autographs. An added bonus to this lot is three images signed by Montana, Rice and Young. The Montana image signed in black sharpie is an 8.5" x 11" bio sheet blow-up card with a COA from the 11/7/1998 autograph show where Joe signed for fans. Jerry Rice signed the 8x10 photo of himself in blue marker with his "#80" inscribed. Steve Young signed a great 8x10 photo of himself with Rice in blue marker.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA..

Note about consignor/collector: Bill Albert worked as a staff photographer for the San Jose Giants minor league baseball club (Giants single A affiliate) and did freelance photography for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's where he developed many relationships with Bay Area professional athletes. He was also a relentless pursuer of autographs at trading card and autograph shows.
