Nice lot of game used and signed items from Oakland Athletics Hall of Fame outfielder Rickey Henderson.
1) American Baseball Cap size 7 1/8 Oakland Athletics right hand game used batting helmet signed on top of the yellow bill in perfect 9-10/10 looking black felt tip pen by Hall of Fame outfielder Rickey Henderson. Helmet displays moderate/heavy game use.
2) Pair of Easton game used batting gloves both signed on the top in 8-9/10 dark blue felt tip pen by Rickey Henderson. Both show heavy game use.
Each item comes with a COA from Man of Steal Sports, Henderson's memorabilia company run by his longtime personal memorabilia manager, Mike Weiss. The lot is part of Bill Albert's Rickey Henderson collection. Albert worked as a staff photographer for the San Jose Giants minor league baseball club (Giants single A affiliate) and did freelance photography for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's developing relationships with many Bay Area professional athletes. He acquired most, if not all, of his Rickey items through Mike Weiss and Man of Steal Sports.
