OML(Selig) BB used in the game in which Rickey Henderson scored his 2,246th run to tie Ty Cobb for the most runs scored in baseball history. On a side panel in strong 9/10 blue ink Henderson has written: "Run 2246 Game Ball 10-4-2001 Rickey Henderson". Ball itself displays good game use.

Comes with two COAs - one signed by Ricky himself - from Man of Steal Sports, Henderson's memorabilia company run by his longtime personal memorabilia manager, Mike Weiss. The ball (Hologram #A273078) is part of Bill Albert's Rickey Henderson collection. Albert worked as a staff photographer for the San Jose Giants minor league baseball club (Giants single A affiliate) and did freelance photography for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's developing relationships with many Bay Area professional athletes. He acquired most, if not all, of his Rickey items through Mike Weiss and Man of Steal Sports.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
