Here then is a game-worn jersey from the most prolific passer in the history of the NFL, Payton Manning, and it's hard to imagine who would quibble with that assessment, even as unequivocal is it is. The NFL and PSA/DNA attest to the game use on a blazing blue home jersey that also features holograms on the front numeral from Manning himself and Mounted Memories, to go with a snappy black Sharpie Manning autograph at the top of the "8" of his front uniform number, with his No. 18 inscription added. The jersey is an absolute stunner, worn in a 19-9 Colts victory over the Chiefs at Indianapolis in Manning's final season as a Colt. It was also his 12th campaign in which he threw for more than 4,000 yards (4,700), along with 33 touchdowns; history would ultimately reveal that there was more to come in both departments. At the bottom of the front tail is the blue Reebok tag with attached "4 inches L.B." and "50" small flag tags. The inside back collar sports a "10-50" tag as well, and the inside tail of this shirt includes a manufacturer’s fabric content tag from Berlin, Wis. Manning's famed No. 18 appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in white tackle twill and "Manning" appears across the back in white tackle twill letters on a blue nameplate. The sleeves have the embroidered Reebok logo patch on each. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield and above the right breast is the embroidered pink Captain's "C" patch, denoting the NFL's commitment to the fight against breast cancer.

As noted, the jersey comes with Certificates of Authenticity from the NFL and PSA/DNA.
