This spectacular jersey was worn by Philip Rivers in the San Diego Chargers' 38-14 loss to the New England Patriots on Sept. 16, 2007, in just his second year as the team's starting quarterback. was drafted in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft with the fourth overall pick by the New York Giants, who sent him to San Diego for the Chargers' first overall pick, quarterback Eli Manning. Rivers' career passer rating of 95.3 is fifth-best all-time among NFL quarterbacks with at least 1,500 passing attempts. This Chargers white mesh jersey boasts considerable game use, including dirt and grass stains front and back and on both shoulders, plus collision marks throughout. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “07-50" and an adjacent "S" flag tag; all elements of the jersey appear to be unaltered and problem-free. The inside tail of this shirt includes a manufacturer’s tag noting Berlin, Wis. Rivers' No. 17 appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in light-blue, navy blue and yellow tackle twill, the same configuration as the Chargers lightning bolts on both sleeves. "Rivers" appears across the back in navy blue on a white nameplate. The sleeves have an elastic spandex hem and each feature the embroidered Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield patch directly above the embroidered Chargers block-letters logo patch. A J.O. Sports hologrammed tag is affixed to the lower inside of the tail attesting to the game use from 9/16/07 game at Foxborough.

Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Chargers.
