Treat yourself to an Oakland Raiders AFL Legacy throwback helmet worn by 2007 #1 draft pick JaMarcus Russell in two home games during the 2009 season. Russell went into battle wearing this helmet Sept. 9 (opening day) vs. San Diego Chargers and Oct. 25 vs. New York Jets.
The Schutt XL helmet carries two unique characteristics, the most obvious being the throwback Raiders logo circa 1963. The second is the '95' decal on the back to honor teammate Marquis Cooper, a linebacker who wore #95 for the 2008 Raiders before getting lost at sea in a boating accident in March 2009. Russell's #2 appears in black decals on the back and also hand-written in black marker above each earhole on the inside. There are hologram stickers from J.O. Sports inside each earhole. White padding on the inside of the helmet is complimented by an additional black cushion pad. Significant game use visible in the white padding, several scratches and marks on the outside, and some brown marks on the facemask. The chinstrap is attached. All elements of the helmet are largely as-issued in problem-free condition. Comes with COA from J.O. Sports, Inc.
