This classic blue and gold New York Jets throwback jersey from the 2009 season was worn by quarterback Mark Sanchez in a 24-17 win at home over the Tennessee Titans. Sanchez threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in a sterling 17-30 passing day. The jersey in question shows good game use,and all elements of the jersey appear to be problem-free; the tails of this shirt are hemmed straight across the bottom with an elastic hem and no manufacturer’s tags remaining save for a fabric content tag noting Berlin, Wis. Inside the rear collar is a white strip tag with “09-44”. Player number 6 appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in gold tackle twill. "Sanchez" appears across the back in gold tackle twill on navy-blue nameplate. The sleeves have an elastic spandex hem and each feature the Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with adjacent embroidered "AFL both Anniversary" patch.
