PSA AUTHENTIC Full PROOF - NOT VALID FOR ADMISSION - PUNCHED/CANCELLED Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Joe Frazier and challenger Buster Mathias held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 4, 1968. Ticket is very clean front and back and displays about VG/VG-EX with matching punch holes at both sides. Four years earlier Mathias had beat Frazier in the Olympic qualifying trials but had to bow out of the Olympics due to an injury. He was replaced by Frazier who went on the win the Gold Medal. Now they would meet again for the Heavyweight title. Mathias stayed with Frazier early in the fight but began to tire as the fight went on. Frazier knocked him out in the 11th round. Very clean ticket both front in back with some very light creasing. Presents VG.
