FR PSA 1.5 Full Unused $50 Box Seat Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Jack Dempsey and challenger Georges Carpentier held at Boyle's Thirty Acres in Jersey City, New Jersey, on July 2, 1921 before a crowd of 91,000. This fight between "The Manassa Mauler" and the popular Frenchman, a World War I hero, generated the first $1,000,000 gate in boxing history. The heavily favored Dempsey, after starting slowly the first 2 rounds, began to brutally beat the challenger, ending the fight by knocking out Carpentier with a right hook to the head in the 4th. Ticket fairly clean front and back with VG-EX corners. Some light creases and a scrape resulting in front paper loss at the left/middle of ticket. The only FR 1.5 and the highest graded ticket graded by PSA.
