This is Warren Moon's 1991 Mackey Award AFC Most Valuable Player trophy, presented by the National Football League Players Association. The striking award features a brushed silver statuette of a 9 1/2-inch tall generic player in a futuristic styling, resting upon a silver base 4 1/2 inches in diameter. That in turn rests upon a circular wood base 4 inches high and 7 inches in diameter. A 7 1/2-by-4-inch silver plaque across the front notes "Warren Moon, Houston Oilers, AFC Most Valuable Player, 1991 Mackey Award, National Football League Players Association," with the Players Association logo on one side and "BBF" on the other. Moon has signed his name in silver Sharpie on the back side of the wood base opposite the silver plaque, adding his year of HOF induction and uniform number; all elements appear to be in largely as-issued and problem-free condition.
