The Eskimos' record breaking 5th Grey Cup victory looked in jeopardy at mid-season, with their 3-5 record. But, 10 straight victories pitted them against the underdog Toronto Argonauts. The Boatmen last won a cup in 1952, and their fans were thrilled with expectation. Winners of only two games the previous season, they had a 9-6-1 record. The game, played in a driving rainstorm, started well for Toronto. With Toronto leading 14-10, Edmonton and Warren Moon (the game MVP) would not look back. Moon's second TD pass to Brian Kelly and a Neil Lumsden TD rush, and three more Cutler field goals sealed the final Grey Cup victory for the CFL's greatest dynasty. Moon completed 21 of 33 passes for 319 yards, all the while having to throw in the freezing rain.

This fantastic Grey Cup ring features a large cubic zirconia at the center, set in a diamond-shaped gold setting in the middle of a green stone. The team name and "Grey Cup Champions" are spelled out on the bezel in raised all-caps letters. The left shank displays "Moon," an Eskimos helmet, and "QB1" engraved on it; the right shank has a Grey Cup with '82 stamped on the bowl, "CFL" spelled out on the base, and each of the four previous Grey Cup years stamped around it. The ring, presented in the black-felt box, has "Jostens" and "10K" stamped inside the size 11 1/2 band.

LOA from Warren Moon.
