From one of its most famous alums comes this game-worn helmet from 1976-78 and showcasing the two seasons that eventual NFL and CFL Hall of Famer Warren Moon guided the fortunes of the Washington Huskies in the Pac 8 Conference. Boasting a spectacular black Sharpie Moon autograph and his uniform No. 1 on the right side, the helmet shows enough game use to elicit informal grunts and thuds from uninitiated viewers. The helmet is largely intact but is missing the face guard; the interior is in similar condition, with all elements intact surrounding the Wilson logo and a handwritten taped piece noting Moon's name and uniform No. 1. The chin strap is well worn but all present and accounted for; there are numerous scraps on the gold surface of the helmet, but blue and white stripes across the middle and "W" stickers on each side slightly scratched but otherwise unmolested. Truly a stunning historical piece from the collegiate career of one of the greatest professionals to play at any latitude.

LOA from Warren Moon.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
