VG-EX PSA 4 Full Unused Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Joe Louis and challenger Jersey Joe Walcott held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 5, 1947. Louis came into the fight a heavy 10-1 favorite over the 33 year old journeyman fighter, yet Walcott knocked Louis down twice in the first 4 rounds. Most observers felt Walcott won the fight, but a 15 round split decision went to Louis resulting in loud booing from the crowd. Very clean front and back some corner wear. Indentations from a paper clip can be seen on both sides, most noticeable on the back. The only ticket to this fight handled by PSA.
