GD PSA 2 Full Unused Ticket to the World heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion jack Johnson and challenger Jim "The Fighting Fireman" Flynn held in Las Vegas, New Mexico on July 4, 1912. Johnson had not stepped into the ring since defeating Jeffries exactly two years earlier, yet still had enough to dominate the fight with the over matched Flynn. By the 6th round Flynn was cut on the face and developed a new strategy, trying to headbutt Johnson on the chin. Despite several warnings by the referee, Flynn continued to headbutt Johnson. By the 9th round the local sheriff had seen enough. He stepped into the ring and stopped the fight. Johnson was awarded a TKO. Ticket itself displays well with one crease at the right side that does not break the front surface paper. Stain is visible along the left front edge on both front and the corresponding back. Otherwise the front is very clean with sharp picture images and strong printing. The only GD PSA 2 with just one VG 3 rated better by PSA.

Also included is a "Carter & Stanley Special To the Flynn-Johnson Championship Battle" at Las Vegas, New Mexico unused form for buying railroad tickets to the fight. Paper thin application is in perfect condition.
